‘African Workplaces’ is a photographic exhibition, put together by the French Centre for Ethiopian Studies (CFEE) and the French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA-Nairobi).It brings together social science researchers and photographers in a collective reflection on working class labour in Africa as opposed to reflections on unemployment and informal sector. The exhibition is divided into three sections including urban trade, plantation work from harvesting to processing, and industrialization.
