Prague 1983. 18 yr-old sprinter Anna is being groomed for the 1984 Olympics and placed on a “programme of specialized care” where she is doped with steroids.  She soon realizes what is happening as a number of side effects start to have a negative impact on her health. Her moral choice is to attempt to earn her Olympic medal without using a forbidden substance, but her mother and her coaches have a different plan.
