Rachel Stephaie Akinyi aka Spontaneous the Poet has been performing poetry since 2013. She holds a Bsc. Applied Statistics with Computing degree from the University of Eldoret. She categorizes her works as conscious. She is the founder of Anika 254, an art-based initiative that aims to spur positive change through monthly forums. She is currently spearheading a project on Gender and development called Gaining Grip Experience.
