Intellectual Property (IP) – creations of the mind: inventions; literary and artistic works; and symbols, names and images used in commerce – could either be industrial property or copyright. Kenya is signatory to a number of intellectual property conventions. However IP awareness and protection remains a challenge. This Science Café will shed light on IP rights and create networking opportunities for researchers and entrepreneurs in order to enhance knowledge transfer and development.
