For the 2019 International Francophonie Day, join us on a musical journey from the East to the West, from the Nile to the Niger. A unique feast of Tuareg music.

Two acclaimed African musicians, Alhousseini Anivolla-Anewal, Tuareg guitarist and singer from Niger, and the Ethiopian jazz guitarist, Girum Mezmur, use the language of music to bridge cultures.

Inspired by the pentatonic scale, the two musicians will be joined by traditional Ethiopian instrumentalists playing the masinko and the krar, in a meeting of Sahara blues and Ethiopian jazz.
