Sam Ali, a sensitive and impulsive young Syrian, flees his country for Lebanon to escape the war. In order to get to Europe and live with the love of his life, he agrees to have his back tattooed by the world’s most sultry contemporary artist. But as he transforms his body into a prestigious work of art, Sam discovers that his decision has come at the cost of his freedom.

Sam Ali, jeune Syrien sensible et impulsif, fuit son pays pour le Liban afin d’échapper à la guerre. Pour se rendre en Europe et vivre avec l’amour de sa vie, il accepte de se faire tatouer le dos par l’artiste contemporain le plus sulfureux au monde. En transformant son corps en une prestigieuse oeuvre d’art, Sam finira toutefois par découvrir que sa décision s’est faite au prix de sa liberté.
