Filamu za Akina Dada Uongozini program popularly known as Filamu Dada is about 7 Kenyan female filmmakers who were supported to produce 7 short internationally compliant Kenyan creative documentaries on 7 women leaders from across the country. Filamu Dada seeks to amplify the voices of female leaders in Kenya to change perceptions of women in leadership positions and to diversify and champion stories that contribute to gender equality through documentary filmmaking. Filamu Dada is part of the Ms President program supported by Media Focus on Africa (MFA) and implemented by Docubox and other partners.
