Résonance Kenya: Speech Contest

We are pleased to announce the “Créer, Innover et Entreprendre en français” speech contest, aimed at fostering creativity and entrepreneurship in the French language. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas and innovative projects while enhancing their public speaking skills.

Exposition

A joint exhibition by Marina Burnel, French artist from Kingston, Jamaica, and Adam Masava, Kenyan artist, founder of Mukuru Art Collective. The common denominator in their work is the ubiquitous corrugated iron sheet. It is on these sun-worn, rust-stained, dust scratched iron sheets that the artists capture the subjects of their art influenced by their beliefs and the social forces in their daily environment.

‘Your Story Matters’ is a performance featuring poems from Harrison Wabuko’s MIRROR EP and Book, blending music, storytelling, and spoken word poetry, alongside interactive Q&A sessions, fostering discussions on the themes explored in the pieces.

‘Beneath the tides’ is a curated film festival that comprises six short films that focus on family and reconciliation.
