Our Library and Resource Centre has over 3,000 members. The library collection includes 16,000 books, 1000 DVDs, 400 music CDs and French magazines. We offer free access to a digital library and an online catalogue. Members and students are welcome to the library to watch films, listen to French music and consult educational resources on CD-ROMs for learning French as well as for general knowledge on France.

Simply present:
- 2 passport size photographs
- A copy of national ID/Passport
- Students: a valid Student ID Card

Other Students: 3,300/- per year
Non Students: 4,000/- per year

To register for Culturethèque and unlock access to the vast online digital library, the process is simple!
Contact Alliance Française Multimedia Library Department at library@afkenya.org . We will assist you with your registration. Once registered, you can access Culturethèque’s online content using the credentials we shall provide you with.

The bibliothèque de l’apprenant is an accessory specifically designed to make learning French easy alongside the classroom lessons and is available to all members. With 2,500 multimedia resources at your disposal: grammar and exercise books, CD-roms, fiction and non-fiction, comics, music and films, all classified according to the different levels of French, this section allows users to improve their knowledge of the French language, culture and history. It is also a resource for students preparing for the DELF and DALF exams.
